About Us
PolicyLk is a community engagement platform focusing on generating policy ideas through discussion and debate, with the expectation to further these community generated policies by involving domain experts and finally to implement them by assisting elected officials and state entities.
How We Work
We aim to create a platform to connect people and thereby make it easier for people with common interests to get in touch to generate solutions to existing problems or scenarios. The stages to generating community based policies through this approach is as follows:
Identify
Identify and bring to light a problem which needs review through people who have understood or experienced this at ground level.
Connect
Use platform to connect interested parties in a particular issue or area with experts in that area to brainstorm, discuss and debate on said issue.
Generate
Generate sustainable solutions to combat or mitigate the issue.
How Can You Get Involved?

Write
Bring to light issues that you believe need fixing.
If you see something that is working, write about it so others can learn from it
Engage
If you have an idea or a solution, create a policy project, and start creating. Browse through projects under discussion and help make each debate more informative and accurate. If you are a specialist in a specific area write to us, so we can understand how best to engage with you.
Create Traffic
Bring your friends and create traction through community support. Help us reach more Sri Lankans
